Lead Times
As you may be aware the IT market is currently experiencing unprecedented disruption to its supply chain. This is a global, pan-industry, pan-supplier issue which has resulted in ever-extending delivery lead times for IT equipment through 2021. This scarcity of supply, in conjunction with increasing shipping costs is leading to higher prices being passed through the supply chain to the end customer. Our communications with key suppliers suggest these issues will persist through the majority of 2022. Therefore we can expect to see a lack of available devices and subsequent price rises for non-standard equipment through FY21/22. Additional information can be found here.
